Hey Guys! Welcome to F9A Blogs. What a differential FPL GW36+ was as plenty of big hitters were benched or could not score big. Fortunately, I was able to get captaincy choice right and captained D Silva as I expected KDB, and Sterling will get rested ahead of FA Cup Semi-Final this weekend. D silva was the good differential choice as I had to climb up besides he has few games left in his career at City, so expect him to finish the season with a flourish.
Let’s look at the points tally for FPL GW 36+
Chelsea’s differential picks were unlucky not to get big hauls as they had too many chances. Basically for the free hit I tried to pick players with low ownership as I could. I am happy with the overall score as it is 20+ higher than the average but could have been more. No worries. Let me know how your FPL teams performed below
Let’s analyze FPL GW37+ and will try to pick out best picks in each position which will help you to climb up in your mini-league.
GK – Pope,DDG,Ederson
As I always keep mentioning it, no need to chop and change this position unless your GK is underperforming or injured.
Defenders – Doherty, Tarkowski, Otamendi
As we are at the business end of the season, we expect teams to concede goals. A better strategy is to use defenders which have high attacking potential with great fixtures.
Recently TAA and other popular defenders are not delivering attacking wise. You should stick to them as they will provide returns in the last 2 GWs. We would like to invest our transfers in midfielders/attackers right now.
Midfielders- Martial, Son, Barnes
Obviously I haven’t mentioned usual suspects like Bruno, KDB, and Salah as most of you have them in your team. I picked up Son and Barnes as a differential choice this GW. I picked up Barnes in my team as I thought Leicester needed attacking support to Vardy. In the last GW, he could have scored 2 goals with 2 Vardy assists but could not convert them. Son is my all-time favorite I don’t even know why, but he is amongst the goals since that North London Derby.
Attackers- Wood, Kane, Ings
Right now everyone is jumping on to the players who are facing Norwich and rightly so as they have been poor defensively. Wood has great attacking prowess in air and he is on penalties as well.
We forgot this man, but Kane has found his form and he loves playing against Leicester. Remember when he scored whopping 24 points against them 2-3 season back with overall 31 points in double GW. This time it won’t happen but can not rule out attacking points against Leicester.
Ings is very unlucky not to get double-digit haul last GW, he was a threat throughout the game and could have had 2-3 goals with an assist as well. He is a very good choice for captaincy this week against the Bournemouth side.
Differential- Wood, Barnes, D Silva
Captain Choice – Salah, Ings, Kane
