FPL GW 36+ Preview| Free Hit

As games are coming in thick and fast, it is very difficult to predict which players are going to play. If you had Sterling or Antonio, well done to you, as I mentioned to bring in Antonio in my last blog but wanted to wait just to see his threat, but boy that wait hurts even more now. This is how FPL works out, my only lesson is that do not lose hope. After every bad GW one good GW is around the corner, just have patience.

I scored just above average points this GW, which is always good. I am planning to use a free hit for GW36+ as last resort to catapult ahead in my mini-league. Last week I took risk of taking out Salah for Mane, could have worked out but Nick Pope was in hot form.

Let’s get into Free Hit Squad for GW36+. The objective is that it should be more of differential if you are in the chasing pack, those who are at the top should stick to the template.

GW36+ Free Hit Squad

It took me 2 hours to finalize this free hit squad. Let’s review

GK – Ederson – Safe choice

Defenders – Alonso, Digne, and TAA

Alonso might come in as James had poor last GW, it’s a risk but may pay off as Chelsea needs goals right now and Alonso loves to hover around the box. Digne has a good home fixture with Everton eyeing comeback from that poor result against Wolves. TAA had his rest and could exploit his attacking prowess against weak Arsenal defense who has FA cup fixture at the weekend.

Midfielders – David Silva, Foden, Willian, Salah, Antonio

Still upset about the fact that I did not transfer in Antonio last GW. David Silva and Foden were rested last GW, they are most likely to start (Disclaimer – Pep Guardiola). Manchester City is on course to win the FA cup, key players might get rested this GW.

Willian is in good form and Norwich is already relegated so expecting returns from Chelsea player, Mo Salah could have scored two, but Nick produced the best performance of the season. Though Salah rest is due but Golden boot is in sight with shaky Arsenal defense.

Forwards – Ings, Giroud

Giroud is a differential pick given the Chelsea had a poor outing last GW. Chelsea needs goals as they are eyeing that elusive third place with Leicester and United have also failed to capitalize.

Ings is a no brainer in FPL these days.

Captain Choice – David Silva/Foden

Differential Pick – Alonso and Giroud

I hope this free hit squad pays off. Kindly let me know your suggestions. What changes you are making, comment below!
