FPL GW38+ Preview 2020

Final GW38+ is just around the corner. It has been a roller coaster ride this FPL Season. It all comes down to the last GW, as many people still looking to climb up and clinch the top spot in their respective mini-leagues. Wishing the best of luck to everyone in the final GW38+.

I am consistently able to score above average after lockdown, which has improved my rankings from 700k to 450k. Still not satisfied with the overall season as in the last 2 seasons I was able to finish just around 19k. Hoping to come back even stronger in the upcoming season and aim for 10k finish.

Let’s do the preview of FPL GW38+

GK – Nick Pope

He is the best FPL pick of the season for sure and performed brilliantly throughout the season. I wish I had him since the start as I had a premium choice so did not tinker much with the GK. If you are playing with Free hit then he is the best option right now.

Defenders- Any Burnley defender, Laporte, Robertson

As I mentioned in my previous blogs that defenders are less likely to get points in the last GWs as teams tend to score more given the league position scenario they are in. We have to look at attacking potential and differential options. Those who are already at the top, please make sure you follow the template and play it safe.

Burnley defenders will try their best to clinch Golden Glove award to Nick Pope as Ederson is expected to keep a clean sheet and go beyond him.

Laporte is playing against Norwich, I expect City to get a lot of corners against Norwich and Laporte is very good in the air.

Robertson has found his FPL form after lockdown and constant threat from the left-wing. Of course, TAA is best attacking wise but we are targeting differentials as always.

Midfielders – David Silva, Pulisic, Richarlison, Mahrez

The obvious choices are Sterling, KDB, and Salah. Pep has mentioned that he will try to provide game time most of his players during the last 2 games.

David Silva will be playing his last game at the Etihad and expect him to start. It is very hard to look past him as he has performed really well when he is on the pitch, who knows he might get Penalties, Free Kicks, and every other opportunity to score in his last game. I captained him in GW36+ and he paid off really well.

Pulisic is in brilliant form and shown his worth in the game against Liverpool. He made an instant impact.

Richarlison is going under the radar but he is the key to Everton’s goals. Mahrez is a differential choice and We expect him to start against Norwich. Manchester City would be most probably taking revenge as Norwich beat them early in the season, Many would be surprised if the scoreline is not anywhere close 5-0

Forwards – Jesus, Aubameyang, Kane, Ings, and Vardy

This is the first time I have included premium options in forwards if I remember. This season belonged to Ings and Jimenez most of the time, they were so consistent.

Kane has finally found his form as I mentioned earlier he performed well against Leicester. Last GW usually a goal’s galore, we can see a lot of big scores and this means we have a lot of options at our disposal in this department.

Expect regular FPL choices of Ings, Jimenez in most of the squads. I expect DCL to get attacking points against Bournemouth. You might be wondering Bournemouth is still fighting, but this will provide more attacking spaces to Everton given that Bournemouth will try to give it all.

Leicester needs to win final GW against United, their objective is pretty clear and they will be in full attacking mode. This is will be the most-watched game because of the objective behind it. Vardy has to score.

Differential Choices – I have mentioned a few differentials above as well, but I have found few less than 2% ownership differentials for the last GW.

Soucek (WHU vs Villa), Rodriguez (Burnley vs Brighton), Tierney (Arsenal vs Watford)

Captain Choices – David Silva, Vardy, Ings

I hope you score big in the last FPL GW38+ and climb high to win your min leagues. Best of Luck to everyone.
